Here is a table with a list of (slightly over) one thousand of the most common pali words.

We produced this vocabulary list by doing a statistical analysis of hundreds of passages from the suttas of the Pali Canon. We did our best to convert the words appearing in the texts to their dictionary form before counting them and sorting them by decreasing frequency.
